CODEX Concrete Side Table

Wichita

2024

The CODEX Table is part side table, part architectural statement. Designed for a Concrete Design School workshop, it draws inspiration from ancient Mayan and Aztec temples, filtered through a Frank Lloyd Wright lens of geometry and proportion.

We’ve made several versions of this piece across workshops - each one a little different, each one a testament to what’s possible with concrete. Some have been cast in our ultra-high performance crystalline silica-free concrete, others in Ramm-Crete, our rammed-earth aesthetic mix. Both showcase how concrete can step far beyond flat surfaces and become sculptural, three-dimensional, and alive.

Set on casters for easy movement, the CODEX Table shows how form and function can intersect in surprising ways. It’s not just furniture - it’s proof that concrete can carry history, design, and playfulness all in one small piece.
