Cornish Pasty Co. Concrete Bar Tops
Chandler
2008
The Cornish Pasty Co. Bar Tops showcase how far concrete design can be pushed when storytelling meets craft. For this popular Arizona restaurant group, we created custom anthracite and bone-colored countertops that blended durability with a distinctly Cornish identity.
One bar top featured Saint Piran’s Flag, the white cross on a black field that symbolizes Cornwall. Others incorporated integral inlaid steel letters, laser-cut and cast directly into the concrete surface. The result was a collection of countertops that weren’t just functional - they became a visual and cultural centerpiece for the restaurant.
Concrete offers a freedom other materials can’t: the ability to inlay symbols, lettering, and stone, to create surfaces that carry meaning as well as strength. Handcrafted in Wichita, Kansas, and finished with our healthy, non-toxic sealer, these countertops were built to last through countless pints, plates, and conversations.
