The Modern Breezeway Block Project was completed in 2018 for Kovac Studio on a landmark residence in Beverly Hills, California. What began as a challenging commission became one of our proudest achievements.

These custom white concrete breezeway blocks were designed to be visible from both sides, meaning the casting area had to be hidden within the block itself. To make the project even more ambitious, each block was engineered to house a hidden LED light strip that illuminated the block from within. The interiors were lined with gold leaf, so at night, the blocks glowed with a warm, golden light - transforming the entry into something unforgettable.

Originally, another company (who said they could do it cheaper) had been awarded the job. After a year, they had produced only 100 of the 1,806 required blocks and abandoned the project. In a panic, the builder called us. We stepped in, delivered the blocks ahead of schedule, and brought the vision to life.
